Creative Ways to Give

Besides direct gifts of cash, there are many ways you can contribute to LTLT . . .

Corporate Matching Gifts

A Big Thank YOU to our donors who are already doing this because Matching Gifts are an excellent way to double or even triple your giving to LTLT.  We are fortunate to have donors who currently work for or have retired from Coca Cola because Coca Cola has a two for one matching gifts program.  Duke Energy matches gifts from employees one for one, so does Arch Chemicals and Bank of America. These extra gifts make a big difference to our bottom line and require very little effort on the part of the donor.  Typically all that is involved is for you, the donor, to obtain a small bit of paper work from your HR Department, send it to us along with your donation, and we do the rest.   Like magic, your gift doubles or triples.  If you work for or have retired from Coke, Duke Energy, Arch Chemicals, or Bank of America, please get the matching gift form from the HR Department.  Other companies may also have a matching gifts program; please ask your employer.

Donate a Vehicle

v_dacLogoLTLT is now listed as a charity with v-Dac (Vehicle Donation to Any Charity). v-Dac accepts any vehicle, anywhere in the US, running or not - it's free to the donor (there are potential tax benefits as well) and LTLT receives approximately 75% of the proceeds.

lets_go_greenThis on-line store offers eco-friendly household and office products.  At the end of your order you can choose a charity- The Land Trust for the Little Tennessee.  Let’s Go Green will give 25% of your purchase cost to the charity of your choice.

Good_SearchIf you use Good Search and Good Shop  when surfing or shopping on the web, you can contribute to LTLT simply by doing something you're doing anyway.  Just type in LTLT as the Charity you are supporting and we will receive a contribution from Good Search/Shop simply because you used this tool.

Weddings, Birthdays, and other Celebrations

One of our members used the I Do Foundation www.idofoundation.org as a means of channeling wedding gifts to LTLT.  Others have simply asked their friends to give to LTLT instead of purchasing a gift item for them for their birthday.
