| The
Land Trust for the Little Tennessee is a community-based nonprofit
which, since 1999, has been a key agent for the protection
of more than 5000 acres, including riverfront lands along
nearly one-third of the free-flowing Little Tennessee River.
Our mission
is to conserve the waters, forests, farms and heritage of
the upper Little Tennessee and Hiwassee River valleys.

involved in our efforts to conserve this magnificent, historic
landscape by joining LTLT!
- Honor
& Memorial Gifts
Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift is a meaningful way to remember someone
who has passed on. Memorial gifts may be sent to "Land
Trust for the Little Tennessee," P. O. Box 1148, Franklin,
NC 28744. Please indicate who is ging remembered,
as well as who should be notified of the memorial gift (e.g.,
a surviving spouse, parent, or child), along with a mailing
address for that individual.
Honor
Gifts
Many
people choose to send gifts in honor of special people...
everyone from family members celebrating a birthday to
a couple getting married or celebrating a big anniversary.
These tribute gifts may be sent to "Land Trust for
the Little Tennessee," P. O. Box 1148, Franklin,
NC 28744. Please indicate who is being honored
and where to send a notification of the gift.
- Gifts
of Stocks & Securities
A
gift of appreciated
stock can provide much-needed support for LTLT,
while also lowering your taxes.
- Providing
for LTLT in Your Will
A
Brief
Guide to Planned Giving is now available
here. You can find basic information about bequests, trusts,
and other common methods of planned giving. Each inquiry
is handled confidentially and places you under no obligation.
- Volunteering
Your
time is just as valuable as any monetary contribution.
LTLT needs your help with land stewardship to keep up the
good work that has been started on the land we own and manage
on invasive exotic plant (IEP) species control, general
trash clean up, and restoration planting. We also use volunteers
on specific projects in the office such as mailings and
record keeping, and during our larger events we need volunteers
to help with parking, item sales, and general organization.

Whichever
way you choose to give, thank you for supporting the mission
of The Land Trust for the Little Tennessee. |
